Atlanta has been hard hit by positive COVID tests and currently has 10 players in the health and safety protocol. They officially signed power forward Justin Tillman to a 10-day deal earlier in the day.

Oliver, 25, is 6-foot-8 and appeared in four games with the Rockets last season, his first in the NBA. He averaged 10.8 points in that small sample size.

He currently has been playing with the G League’s South Bay Lakers, averaging 14.4 points and 7.1 rebounds in 14 appearances.

Clemons, 24, is 5-foot-9 and appeared in 33 games with the Rockets in 2019-20, averaging 4.9 points. He then suffered a knee injury, which kept him out the following season and led to him being waived.

But he bounced back to attend training camp with the Celtics, then sign on with the Maine Celtics. In 14 games this season with Maine, Clemons is 16.3 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
