The Clippers have added a pair of experienced players as they continue working through their preseason roster.
Los Angeles signed wing Miye Oni and big man Nathan Mensah to Exhibit 10 contracts and waived guard Fletcher Loyer, the team announced Thursday.
Both additions appear headed toward the San Diego Clippers. If waived, Oni and Mensah can each earn a bonus of up to $91,000 by spending at least 60 days with the G League affiliate.
Oni, 29, played three seasons for Utah after being selected 58th overall in the 2019 draft. The 6-foot-5 former Yale standout has since played in the G League, England, Spain, Puerto Rico and the Basketball Africa League.
His most recent NBA camp opportunity came with Memphis in 2024. He also represents Nigeria internationally.
Mensah, 28, appeared in 25 games for Charlotte on a two-way contract during the 2023-24 season. The 6-foot-9 Ghanaian big man has also played in Greece, Romania and Turkey, along with his G League stops.
He briefly spent time with San Diego last season, appearing in one game, as Law Murray of The Athletic noted.
Loyer’s departure comes just two days after the Clippers brought him back on an Exhibit 10 deal. The former Purdue guard had already been waived once earlier in camp.
It’s been a busy October for the back of the Clippers’ roster. These latest additions look more likely to bolster San Diego than change the rotation in Los Angeles.
